A pattern I can’t ignore anymore

Over the last few months, I’ve been having the same conversation on repeat.

Different doctors.
Different specialties.
Very similar tension.

It usually starts like this:

“I know I don’t want to stay exactly where I am…
but I’m not sure what the right move is.”

What follows is rarely about motivation.

It’s things like:

  • “I’ve done advisory work, but it’s all been unpaid.”

  • “I keep getting close, interviews, panels, conversations, then nothing.”

  • “I know I bring value, I just don’t know how to translate it commercially.”

  • “I don’t want to make the wrong move and regret it.”

These are capable doctors.
Many already visible.
Some already in industry-adjacent roles.

The issue isn’t confidence.
It isn’t credentials.
And it’s definitely not work ethic.

It’s that medicine gives you a path.
Industry doesn’t.

So doctors guess.
They hedge.
They wait for clarity that never fully arrives.

The doctors who move fastest don’t start with certainty.
They just stop trying to solve it alone.

That’s why the DII Power Cohort exists.
Not for motivation.
Not for hype.
But to give doctors a deliberate, supported way forward, without burning years circling.

From January 1, the investment to join DII Power will increase.

Not as a tactic.
But because the depth of support, access, and hands-on work inside the cohort has changed significantly over the last year.

I wanted you to hear that in context, not urgency.

Warm wishes,
Abeyna

P.S.
If DII Power has been sitting at the back of your mind and you want to explore it at the current investment, you can do that here.
