Hello my fellow career trailblazer!

Have you ever paused to consider whether your current role truly reflects your worth?

How do you value yourself? Do you feel valued?

You will only be valued as much as you value yourself.

For much of my life, I valued myself based on the number of exams, qualifications and letters after my name. Society tells us we’re valuable as long as we are highly educated and in a certain career path or role.

Yet as I grew, I realised there was a huge mismatch between that, how I valued myself and the realities or changes of how doctors are really valued in society.

Having just returned from a week-long retreat focused on personal development where I was phone FREE and got to bash things, I’ve received further validation that my real value in my life and career is actually outside of medicine entirely.

For every doctor I see developing careers beyond clinical - it’s totally the same.

The sad thing is that not enough of us really know who we are deep down - we’ve spent way too much time gathering qualifications. And when we’re looking to increase our earnings, we think that taking more qualifications is the answer.. right?

Based on over 10 years of working with doctors - and myself, it’s definitely not the case.

Do you want to earn more? Set your own value outside of medicine.

Don’t forget - investing in your education - achieve what many can do, invest in yourself, achieve what only you can do.
