Me & Steven Bartlett (DAOC): The Real Truth

.. and what actually opens doors for doctors in 2025

Hey,

You never know when a conversation can change your perspective or your path.

Last week, I was exhausted after a long day… but still showed up at an event hosted by Hale House (my workspace). I wasn’t planning on staying long.

Instead, I ended up in a powerful conversation with none other than Steven Bartlett (Diary of a CEO) on culture, unmet needs, and leadership.

I didn’t pitch.
I didn’t ask for advice.
I simply led with value.

And it reminded me of something I often tell the doctors I work with:

🚨 Being in the room isn’t enough.
You need to create your own luck by showing up, staying curious, and building real relationships.

Here’s what else I walked away with:

  • You don’t need a title to share value. You just need to speak up.

  • Talent, leadership, and health are deeply connected but rarely talked about together.

  • The follow-up matters more than the moment itself.

    And if you missed it...

👉🏽 We unpacked more of this in Tuesday’s LinkedIn Live including how to actually get paid (not just busy) in the industry.

Want clarity on where you stand?

I created a short assessment based on everything I’ve learned working with thousands of doctors and my own journey navigating this space.

It’ll show you how well-positioned you are for 6–7 figure roles, and what to focus on next.

Warmly,
Abeyna
